Hellaurr my name is Camila DeAlba (left) and I’m a senior at Jones majoring in biosciences. HACER has been my home at Rice since freshman year, so as corny as it sounds, my favorite memory from HACER is too hard to pick, but planning RITMO is definitely up there! As Co-Presidenta I hope to continue to build a foundation of support and care for the Rice and Houston Latine community.
Holis! My name is Pamela Duarte (right) and I am a Senior at Will Rice. I am a BioSciences (Cell Biology & Genetics) major & Medical Humanities minor, planning to pursue a PhD in Cancer Biology. In my application to Rice I wrote about being involved with HACER because growing up in a border-community I was passionate about representing my culture. As HACER Co-President, I hope to make this our best year yet!

(sg155@rice.edu) (cjs18@rice.edu)
Introducing Saul Gonzalez (left) a Houstonian, originally from San Luis Potosi, Mexico, a Junior from Jones majoring in Business is a well know individual across campus. You might see him biking around campus in between classes or performing with his band Los Búhos del Norte. In the event that you need a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on, a dance partner, or simply a friend to hang out with, you can count on him to turn any frown into a laugh. With this cuh’s smile and amazing personality your day will get better without fail. Along with Caleb he is one of the Outreach co chairs this year. He so exited to be part of the Eboard this year and happy to host many events for students to be exposed to the Houston community!
